1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Paddock, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 (16 in the EEA/UK) to use Paddock.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One person per account. No sharing or transferring accounts.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile.
3. Your content
You own what you post — lap times, photos, forum posts, listings, messages. By posting it on Paddock you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it within the service so other riders can see it. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared with other users.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Paddock to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other riders.
- Post illegal, defamatory, or hateful content.
- Spam, scam, or run unauthorised commercial activity.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Submit fake lap times, fake marketplace listings, or misleading track data.
We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
5. Marketplace
Marketplace listings are between buyer and seller. Paddock is not a party to the transaction, doesn't hold funds, and doesn't verify items. Use common sense — meet in public, inspect before paying, and don't send money up front to strangers.
6. Lap times, track days, and risk
Riding motorcycles on track is dangerous. Paddock provides information and community tools only — it is not instruction, coaching, or a safety service. You're responsible for your own gear, training, and decisions on track. Always follow the rules of the circuit and the organiser.
7. Third-party content
Some pages show data from third parties (track schools, racing schedules, weather). We don't guarantee it's accurate or current. Confirm directly with the source before travelling.
8. Intellectual property
The Paddock name, logo, design, and code are ours. Don't copy or reuse them without written permission.
9. Disclaimer
Paddock is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any specific purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paddock is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or injuries arising from track riding. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for free accounts, is zero).
11. Termination
You can stop using Paddock at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms, or to protect the service or other users.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to where Paddock is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
