1. Who we are
Paddock (“Paddock”, “we”, “us”) operates the Paddock website and mobile app at paddockmoto.io. We help motorcycle riders track track days, lap times, layouts, listings, and conversations with other riders.
2. What we collect
- Account info — email address, display name, and, if you provide it, profile photo and bike details.
- Content you create — lap times, track day attendance, forum posts, messages, marketplace listings, and layout submissions.
- Device & usage data — IP address, device type, app version, crash logs, and basic analytics about which pages you visit.
- Notifications — if you allow push notifications, a device token used solely to deliver them.
3. How we use it
- To run the service: authentication, your profile, your data.
- To show community features: leaderboards, forums, messages, marketplace listings.
- To send notifications you opt into.
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising inside Paddock.
4. What other riders can see
Your display name, profile photo, public lap times, forum posts, and marketplace listings are visible to other Paddock users. Direct messages are visible only to you and the recipient. Account email is never shown publicly.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate Paddock — including cloud hosting, database, authentication, and transactional email. They process data only on our behalf and under contract.
6. Data retention
We keep your account data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal profile and messages within 30 days. Public contributions (forum posts, lap times) may be retained in anonymised form.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your profile, or by emailing us at info@paddockmoto.io. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA — we honour them regardless of location.
8. Children
Paddock is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and row-level access controls on our database. No system is perfect — if you spot a vulnerability, please email info@paddockmoto.io.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
